Peter Broccolo came to Fulcrum from RREEF, one of the premier real estate investment management firms in the US, where he was a partner and worked with primarily tax-exempt US institutional clients. When RREEF was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 2002, Peter was asked to lead global product development for DB Real Estate and integrate RREEF into the global organization. During his tenure at RREEF, Peter also served on RREEF’s investment committee.

Having begun his real estate career as a commercial lender with The First National Bank of Chicago, Peter later joined LaSalle Partners, the predecessor to Jones Lang LaSalle, where he worked with the firm’s corporate clients in establishing strategic real estate solutions and also represented clients in the disposition of land-related assets. He also had diverse acquisitions responsibilities for LaSalle’s institutional funds and separate accounts and, before leaving to join RREEF in 1993, he was the portfolio manager for a number of the firm’s significant relationships, including CalPERS.

Peter served as Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and also on the Board of Directors of AFIRE, the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. He is currently a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and recently completed his tenure as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Loyola Academy. He holds a BA from the College of The Holy Cross and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
