Prior to Fulcrum, Tom was a partner at Ridge Realty Group, where he generated national build-to-suit development projects. In addition, Tom initiated and held project responsibility for speculative industrial developments in Dallas, TX, and Aurora, IL.

Previous to Ridge Realty Group, Tom worked for LaSalle Partners Limited (the predecessor to Jones Lang LaSalle), and held the position of Executive Vice President and Principal. During his career at LaSalle, he was responsible for occupancy transactions spanning 20 cities across the US and representing approximately 5 million square feet of space with an aggregate value of more than $1 billion and representing clients that included Convergys, Cincinnati Bell, Crumb & Forster, and Ernst & Young. At LaSalle, Mr. Cox recruited and managed a team of real estate professionals and had profit and loss responsibility for group performance.

Tom has also worked for Bechtel Corporation and Grant Thornton International. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
